For the next 18 to 24 months, if not longer, the words preserve, protect, and defend will become the most significant and duty-bound pledges for all honor-bound American patriots.

For, should the 2020 campaign cycle conclude with President Donald J Trump 2.0, we are destined to witness something on a magnitude of anarchic proportions not unlike the unrest of the 1960s.

Perhaps something far worse.

Long before the start of then- U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe, brazen behavior on the part of Democrats has been on display; the have ignored the rule of law, and constraints in pursuit of the country’s first coup d'état against a sitting president.

Despite this president having been exonerated, merely on the basis of no evidence of collusion, Democrats disavowed the lack of findings, while pressing on to fabricate some other insignificant, unimpeachable tidbit; one to be fashioned and refashioned in alignment with the Democrats' predicate to destroy Donald J. Trump.

Enter the president’s now famous July 25, 2019 call with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskiy. As a result, Trump became dogged and haunted by the treachery of U.S. House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Reps. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. and Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y.

Their complaint accused the president of inviting a foreign power — Ukraine — to investigate U.S. citizens for corruption, while one of those citizens, Joe Biden, is the president’s campaign rival.

Unflattering optics, nothing more.

Furthermore, the Democrats argued that the president’s motivation was personal — to invoke the Ukraine’s investigation of Biden, in order to sully and remove his campaign rival — Joe Biden.

Never mind that, on its face, such an assertion was a ludicrous assertion, especially since Donald Trump was never concerned about Biden having so much as a snowball’s chance against him; so, why would he need Biden’s campaign to be toppled by an investigation spun up on him by a foreign power?

Only those bent on fabricating impeachment charges would think so.

And never mind that, while the Democrats alleged this corrupt malfeasance by the president with Ukraine, the Democrats exploited their own abuse of constitutional duty by attempting to extort and pressure the Senate into an investigation of the president.

Clad in their impeachment suicide vest, Democrats threatened the U.S. Senate and bodaciously demanded its intervention into the 2020 Election to eliminate their campaign rival from the 2020 ballot.

The Democrats failed.

Yes. Losing in November will signal to them that all is lost, and they, only they, the final arbiters of good and decency, are left to redeem America’s soul from the victimization imposed by Trump. And, as history has shown of humankind's true nature, when feelings of victimhood determine one’s behavior, that behavior turns violent, with that violence freed of any guilt-base constraints — those opposing be d****d.

Our nation's 45th president has threaded the many eyeless needles given to him by the Democrats and their media minions; yet he has used them to stitch a tapestry of remarkable achievements. And, like all hammers, he sees everything else as nails, especially those Democrats’ eyeless needles.
