Biden Likely Is Democrats' Decoy Candidate

So — isn’t it ironic that only a few weeks ago, much dust stirred around the Democratic Primary, which was front and center in a large swath of America’s priorities, but all has deferred to the onslaught of COVID 19.

One by one, the Biden contenders fell, the virus ramped into a global pandemic, and Joe Biden reigned as last man standing. However, as the DNC is compelled to focus on the general election, it will come full-frontal to the prospects of Joe Biden’s viability as their Presidential nominee.

At that juncture, critical strategic decisions will be made without favor, and Biden may find himself faced with the prospect of being leapt over by the likes of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who, by all accounts of late, is being showcased by the mainstream media as a capable leader during New York’s pandemic morbidity.

My sense is that the DNC does, in fact, want Biden.

But a Biden win would be the "sword" sharpened by the campaign. When the political dust comes to rest, Uncle Joe would be asked to fall on that blade and clear the way for whomever the Party will have anointed to sit "second chair" to that high-stakes Biden win.

Notice how fervent both Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Cory Booker, D-N.J., reviled Biden, during the Primary joust, asserting and implying, by no stretch, that he was not up to the challenge of a Trump competition.

However, as Biden has appeared more and more to be the party’s heir apparent, both Harris and Booker have retracted their earlier attacks and signed on as a Biden acolyte.

It is a safe bet that a spate of "What ifs?" have been run, plotting the party’s option when Joe Biden’s gradual mental retreat moves to freefall.

That having been said, lots of money is being sourced for an Andrew Cuomo run, were Biden to encounter a fatal gaff. However, should the party pull that short straw, I foresee a monumental Cuomo defeat, primarily due to defection of the Bernie coalition.

You see, although some supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., would, in fact, migrate into the Cuomo Camp,

I wouldn’t wager that to be the case for the majority of Bernie supporters.

Once again, they will have seen their guardian angel, Bernie, denied his rightful wings, in favor of an establishment golden boy, Andrew Cuomo. And Hell hath no wrath like a twice-wronged leftist liberal extremist.

Some might even wage vengeance with a Trump vote.

Biden is running, but not to win, instead to be the eventual grease for another’s skids, likely Kamala Harris — the Democrats' fallen angel. Give close watch to Biden’s vice presidential choice.

Therein will reside the true Hail Mary intentions of a bemused Democratic Party.
