ISIS Teaches Zuckerberg a Lesson

ISIS appears to be selling captive women kept as sex slaves online in order to replenish the cash-strapped terrorists, The Washington Post reports. In a Facebook posting May 20, an ISIS militant identifying himself as Abu Assad Almani posts a picture of a young woman, commenting, "To all the bros thinking about buying a slave, this one is $8,000."

A second image posted hours later by Almani lists the sale of "another sabiyah," or slave, for the same price. "What makes her worth that price? Does she have an exceptional skill?" one correspondent asks about the second woman, the Post reports. "Nope," Almani answers. ""Supply and demand makes her that price."

The photos have been taken down by Facebook. How ironic! Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg vows to make his website a safe place for Islam, and this is what he gets. By taking the photos down, “liberal” Zuckerberg shows that even he has his limits.

Last December, Zuckerberg announced, “If you’re a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you.”

He went out of his way to make these comments right after the Islamic-inspired attacks in Paris.

Will leftists like Zuckerberg ever learn? Not likely. They’re not interested in learning.

They simply want to be seen as rising above it all. “You can attack me all you want, but I’ll still love you.” Such ridiculous prattle coming from an otherwise game-changing entrepreneur is painfully embarrassing.

His pacifism might impress like-minded leftist poseurs, but it does not impress our brutal Muslim enemies. Leftists like to say these things to gain the applause of one another; to reinforce their misguided sense of moral superiority.

Evidently they think that self-destruction and self-delusion represent morality.

They want to be called “progressives.” But enabling a political-religious ideology that supports human slavery and degradation does not sound like progress to me.

Whatever happened to feminism? The same people who want to bend over backwards to show how they support Muslims are the same ones who emphasize equal rights, equal pay, and so forth for women. Yet this very same ideology promotes selling women as slaves. How on earth can they reconcile such a contradiction?

It does not matter that not all Muslims engage in human trafficking.

What does matter is that the only outspoken adherents of this religion do, along with a whole lot of other things, such as blowing things up, beheading infidels, wiping Israel off the map and eventually destroying America.

In World War II, people did not worry about offending the “nice” Nazis, or the innocently mistaken ones. Even after winning the war, the victorious allies did all they could to hunt down and restrain or punish them.

Today, even as our enemies attack us, we grant them moral and physical comfort.

Our Islamo-Marxist president insists that their ideology is religious and peaceful, while all its most outspoken adherents promote totalitarian dictatorship and execution of those who do not believe. Yet this ideology is above criticism, to the point where our own attorney general threatened criminal prosecution of anyone who promoted “hate speech” against Islam.

There’s no doubt that Zuckerberg will continue to promote a “peaceful and safe environment” for interested Muslims.

Sorry Mark — not too many Muslims seem all that interested.
