Liberals have found the recipe for cultural dominance and all Americans need to fight it tooth and nail. Over the past 30 years or so, Liberals have become the sole arbiters of who is a "Victim," who is a "Champion" and who is an "Oppressor." By becoming the party that assigns the roles, they have become the arbiters of who is a winner and who is a loser.
Let me explain.
Inherently anti-nationalism, anti-American and anti-capitalists, liberals will never enjoy a majority of the electorate in this country. But, paired with other groups, they can often cobble together a "coalition" of sorts to out-vote those that are pro-nationalism, pro-American and pro-capitalism — i.e. the majority of us.
Liberals use race politics — the sad, zero-sum game where everyone is absolutely required to be in one of three categories — whether he likes it or not. This game has been around for a while, but, before the liberals had complete control over the media and celebrities, their mass message was often ignored or even attacked by non-fellow travelers in the communications sphere.
Now that they completely control all means of information gathering (save a few internet outposts and most talk radio) the concept of race politics is accepted as a national imperative to their prospective dominance.
This political syllogism is summed up in the politics of division. Liberal, affluent, white liberals are the self-elected "Champions." Of what you ask?— of all racial minorities, of course. The minorities are the designated "Victims." And all of the rest of the whites who do not recognize the universal status of all minorities as "Victims" and who do not agree with liberal "Champions" will be named "Oppressors." "Oppressor" is not a term used often. It has many, more common synonyms — Nazi, bigot, fascist, white supremacist, etc.
"Victims" are not self-designated. They are designated by the "Champions" — white liberals. While no one in their right mind would volunteer as a "Victim," racial minorities are led to "Victim" status by their leaders who have been co-opted over the years by white liberals.
The "Champions" have lavished these leaders with status, positive press and approving elite reputation. Do I still sound crazy? Ask most any African American in Chicago about Jesse Jackson. You will not be greeted with glowing warmth. However, he is highly regarded by white elite liberals because he preaches the necessary sermon of permanent “Victimhood.”
A portion of ordinary African Americans could only resist this for so long before largely giving in to the seduction of a ready-made, blameless explanation for the little failures we all have in life. "Victimhood" is very seductive and African Americans are no more the exception than any person — white or otherwise — would be.
Further, many "Victims" are very successful, as we all can be in America. As the "Victims" acquire fame, money and position, they are actively labored with guilt for their success by the "Champions" and are urged to lash out against the "Oppressors" on behalf of their brethren "Victims" not so rewarded in life.
Just look to the recent spate of professional athletes bemoaning their "Victim" status. They are generally multi-millionaire, famous, youthful and successful guys and gals pressured by white liberals around them to surrender to their inner "Victimhood." I should be such a "Victim." I would gladly trade the honors of my supposed and entirely imaginary white privilege to trade places with the young, rich, handsome, successful, famous athlete Colin Kaepernick. Who wouldn’t?!
Some African Americans reject the "Victim" status and urge the American values that explain their success. Ben Carson, Herman Cain and Condoleezza Rice are regarded by both the "Victims" and by the "Champions" as self-loathing Blacks who are friends of the "Oppressors" because they do not embrace their "Victimhood." It is sad that these models of success are derided rather than being held-up on high by their community. Clearly today, to be recognized as a successful African American, you have to be ready to be a full-time "Victim" too.
Donald Trump is neither a "Champion," a "Victim" or an "Oppressor." By that mere fact, he is a danger to liberals everywhere and the successes they have had creating race politics. He speaks the enduring truth of "Victims" not being a huge class of minority-only Americans but very real, rare and sad circumstances which are color-blind and deserving the sympathy of all of us.
The truth is that there are racists among all races and they are relatively few and far between and all should be universally shunned. He treats every man and woman the same and is actually, entirely color blind.
For this, President Trump is called all manner of things but none of them are true. The name-calling is a manifestation of his "Oppressor" status conferred by the white liberals. Because he doesn’t surrender to the self-appointed guardians of racial fairness — white liberals — he is denounced as a hater. The "Champions" must unceasingly denounce him as an "Oppressor" hoping that the appellation will eventually stick. If he should be able to wiggle free from this trap, the way will be open for the rest of us to reject the liberal imperative of race-politics and the liberals will be done forever.
We can all expect Donald Trump to continue to be called a racist and his supporters being called a "Basket of Deplorables" and, now, we know why.
