Donald Trump has soared to victory over Hillary Clinton, claiming the presidency and forever challenging Americans' faith in pre-election polls.

“I’ve believed in data for 30 years in politics and data died tonight,” GOP strategist Mike Murphy tweeted Tuesday night.
