For decades, the Democrats have told black America that they are their defenders. I think it is time to expose that propaganda. The time is now for Republicans to make a strong effort to call home its’ lost constituents, The original members for whom the party was built need to be reminded that their interests more closely align with the "Party of Lincoln."
The "Grand Old Party" began when a man named Horace Greeley wrote an editorial published in his own newspapers.
"We should not care much whether those thus united (against slavery) were designated 'Whig,' 'Free Democrat' or something else; though we think some simple name like 'Republican' would more fitly designate those who had united to restore the Union to its true mission of champion and promulgator of Liberty rather than propagandist of slavery."
That editorial was responsible for naming the collection of groups who were united against the pro-slavery stance of the Democrats.
Black America must take a serious and open-minded look at who’s ideals more similarly align with their own. Somehow, the wool has been pulled over the eyes of almost an entire race by the very party that sought to enslave it, and later created the Klu Klux Klan to keep blacks from enjoying the freedoms that were won for them by Republicans.
The wool would not stay pulled over the eyes of Black America were it not for the media, who are now blatant Democratic mouthpieces. The media previously "spoke truth to power." Now, helping to keep Black Americans in the dark about the true nature of the two parties is one of their duties.
The media serves Democratic Party leaders making sure Democrats don't lose black support or votes.
I want to focus on the modern-day ideals of Black Americans and other minorities, compared to those of the two major American political parties.
Let's begin with education.
Our bloated educational system is used by Democrats as a re-election fund that funneling dollars to teachers unions, who in turn donate to Democratic candidates.
Democrats have controlled almost all major inner cities for decades.
Even though we spend over $16,000 per student per year, inner city schools and school systems have deteriorated, both literally (structures) and figuratively (performance).
Republicans support using those tax dollars for "school choice," allowing you to place your student in a classroom of your choosing.
If the school is no good, why condemn your child to a bad education?
Economically, Republicans love to see individuals taking responsibility for themselves and family, including minorities. People who work and thrive take care of their families, put money in the bank and participate in the American system.
It is the very basis of conservatism.
Conversely, instead of opportunity, Democrats strive to give minorities money and free things every month. They want to pay for food, rent, cell phone and medical expenses. While that may be preferred some, I am positive that most who are "government dependent" would love to throw off those invisible shackles of oppression.
Democrats proclaim that their methods are "caring" or "charitable," but by controlling the purse strings, they control the voters. That is part of why the inner cities went Democrat decades ago and have not reverted since.
Since there is so little economic opportunity, you don't dare "bite the hand that feeds you."
Regarding social issues, in the face of both science and religion, Democrats recognize multiple genders. Republicans recognize only two- man and woman. Many Black Americans don’t want LGBT issues compared to the civil rights movement. Also, most minorities recognize the Christian-based ideals that marriage is only between one man and one woman.
Whereas Democrats praise abortion on demand (including executing live babies after a failed abortion), Republicans value life. Again, conservative views of both science (beating heart + emotions + developed physical senses = Life) and Religion (Life is sacred) align more with those of minorities.
Planned Parenthood kills tens of thousands of unborn Black Americans yearly.
President Trump is not afraid to speak directly to Black Americans or in Black neighborhoods.
Fellow Republican representatives need to take note and help him spread the message.
Black Americans, I hope you will consider the future of your children and grandchildren.
Do you want generations of government dependents waiting on their handouts or do you want descendants that are responsible for themselves and their own success?
The party you choose should reflect the answer you give.
French poet Charles Pierre Baudelaire once said, "My dear brethren, do not ever forget…that the loveliest trick of the Devil is to persuade you that he doesn’t exist!"
Similarly, the greatest trick of the Democrats was convincing Black America that they were their best bet. Black Americans lost their souls to the political party of oppression.
Black Americans need to rescue themselves from empty Democratic Party rhetoric, and return to the party of Abraham Lincoln.
