The White House has hinted to Newsmax it might restore issuing readouts of President Trump's phone conversations with world leaders, a practice that has been suspended for two months.

Speaking to Newsmax on Tuesday, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders gave no details on when this would happen.

Newsmax pointed out that suspension of the practice was revealed June 25, when the White House acknowledged the president called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after his re-election but did not provide a readout.

Asked about resumption, Sanders told us: “Certainly we'll continue to keep you all posted. Not just on calls with Turkey but other head-of-state calls as well, and provide readouts when we have them.”

The last time a call readout was provided to the press was in mid-June, when the President had a telephone conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
