The Obama administration quietly and indirectly let it known that President Obama was not going to sign any executive order or authorize any administrative action regarding amnesty, deportation, legalization, or citizenship until after the November 2014 mid-term elections.
The Democratic senators and Congress members implored Obama not to do anything granting illegal aliens further rights and concessions. The Democrats feared that it would cause Americans, of all political views to vote against Democrats. They were right.
Fast forward to October 2016, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump having sailed through the GOP nomination process in part by promising to “build a wall” on the Southern border to stop illegal immigration. In the last week of September, his immigration position was lost and mired in nonsensical minutia.
One reason his immigration stance won him votes was the illegal alien gang violence occurring in the country. Illegal immigration numbers were under-reported by the mainstream media, purposefully. Any stories about illegal alien numbers and/or crimes are buried in the obituary section of the paper.
What is also not reported the cooperation of the international Hispanic criminal gangs with radical Islamic terrorists. The infiltration of America by radical Islamic terrorists is being ignored by the national news media as it contra to progressive ideology espoused by Obama and Hillary Clinton who believe in open borders.
Recent illegal criminal gangs do make the news, as on Oct. 2, 2016 The New York Times carried a story about four dead teenagers in the town, Brentwood, New York on Long Island.
Two girls were beaten to death. The Times reported for nearly decades a Hispanic crime gang, the notorious MS-13 has been terrorizing the town, especially young people. MS-13 is the largest criminal gang in the United States and was formed by Los Angeles Salvadorian nationals.
The New York local and state officials with their federal counterparts appear to be unable to combat the illegal alien criminal gangs.
In Fresno, California gang violence resulted in shooting deaths by criminal gangs. October 2, 2016 is no different than Oct. 2, 2015 — murder and mayhem by alien and domestic criminal gangs.
The Houston Chronicle on October 1, 2016 reported a fifteen percent upsurge in gang violence up from the 2015 25 percent spike in gang violence. The gang violence will cost the city an additional $2 million in police overtime pay.
In Hyattsville, Md., a suburb of Washington, D.C., two MS-13 gang members will be sentenced in January 2017 likely for life in prison for murder. MS-13 appears of have complete control of Prince Georges and Montgomery counties, Maryland. Gang murders, rapes, kidnappings, and other lesser crimes have become common place.
Prosecutions of gang members are rare and witness intimidation normal.
Manatee County, Fla. for years has had continuous African-American and Hispanic gang violence including many murders. In late September 2016, a Sur-13 gang member was sentenced to eight years in prison and fifteen members of an African-American gang were being tried in Federal court for illegal drug operations. SUR-13 is not MS-13.
The Denver Post on September 29, 2016 reported about the killings in gang-ridden Chicago, the murder capital of America. Included in the report was the story of a 14 year old boy who was corrupted by the easy money and good life as a gang member.
He was killed, like the 91 homicides in Chicago in August 2016 of which 71 were African-American and 11 were Hispanic, and the remainder a mixture of races or nationalities.
The number of criminal gangs in America is unknown and the best estimate is that the vast majority are Hispanic gangs with African-American gangs a distant second according to U.S. Department of Justice information.
These criminal gangs are in every state and recruitment rising every year in and out of the United States. Political correctness hampers law enforcement efforts to police the gangs. Police are under siege in every community from political activists in some cases these activists are advocating complete disbandment of the police.
Law-abiding citizens are silent.
Trump has the right idea about controlling American borders and his position on immigration is reflected by his support from the Border Patrol agents. The Border Patrol agents are reporting an increase of illegal Mideast border-crossers. The Obama administration has downplayed this increase.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration uses the Reunification Parole Program to allow illegal alien parents awaiting adjudication of their status to fly their children from the home country to America at taxpayer expense for family unification. The families are then entitled to all education, health care, housing, and food benefits of American citizens.
Trump needs to put aside the small stuff and concentrate on the big stuff of foreign affairs, national security, taxation, immigration, and employment.
