Every year of the last decade "official" government estimates of illegal aliens residing in the United States hovered around 11.5 million men, women, and children. This is the number touted by immigration advocates, the news media, Democrats, the Obama administration, and other supporters of the failed immigration policy of the past eight years.

A closer look at actual numbers suggests that the population of illegal aliens may be as high as 25 million — haunting America.

U.S. citizen-voters understand that there were an estimated 11.5 million illegal aliens in the country in 2008 while from 2009 to 2016 an average of about one million illegal aliens entered the country or overstayed their visas each year according to the U.S. Border Patrol — now equaling at least 19.5 million undocumented aliens.

Whatever the exact count, this vast ghost population of illegal aliens has begun to reveal itself in violent ways. The liberal/progressive chorus chooses not to address the cost to U.S. citizens of the illegal alien ghost population for crimes committed.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) in its last report "Criminal Alien Statistics" (GAO-11-187) dated April 21, 2011, estimated costs to house federal criminal aliens at least $1.6 billion per year with criminal aliens making up 27 percent of the federal prison population. That report did not count criminal aliens in state and local prisons. The report was largely ignored.

In the intervening six years, the number of imprisoned aliens has almost doubled as has the costs of incarceration — let alone the cost to the victims of their criminal activity.

From 2008 to 2014 illegal aliens accounted for 38 percent of all murder convictions in California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and New York. These figures do not reflect the crimes of international criminal gangs like MS-13, the Latin Kings, Sinaloa Cartel, Barrio18, etc.

The costs in lost lives, pain and suffering, property damage, and victim income lose caused by illegal aliens committing crimes including drunken driving is impossible to calculate. The harm illegal alien criminals cause occurs daily which is ignored by a compliant news media for obvious reasons.

The U.S. also faces tax losses of an estimated $25 billion in 2015 due to illegal aliens sending monies home each year. Despite liberal claims to the contrary, federal agencies reported for the first quarter of 2006 estimated that 62 percent of all illegal aliens were working off the books, for cash, thus evading federal and state income taxes.

Also, in 2006, an estimated 43 percent of all food stamps were issued to illegal aliens, and 58 percent of all welfare payments were made to illegal aliens and their families. During the Obama years records of entitlements of illegal aliens were not forthcoming that is why 2006 figures are used.

President Obama by his executive orders and mandates encouraged the reduction of record-keeping by federal agencies dealing with illegal aliens. Thus, there are no reliable records about illegal alien benefits and entitlements during the Obama years.

The federal, state, and local welfare authorities are well-aware that illegal applicants use stolen social security cards, and present fake IDs and fake drivers’ licenses for entitlements. The Obama administration instructed all its personal involved in entitlement programs not question persons applying for benefits about their citizenship, even when the applicants spoke no English.

Of course, the new think promulgated by the Obama administration, academia, and the news media is that legal and illegal aliens contribute to the country. This is pure speculation and not proved by credible evidence.

The United States is in the midst of its greatest test of survival. The country is divided as never before. There are citizens and non-citizens set on destroying the presidency of the duly elected President Donald J. Trump.

These vocal and active naysayers don't care about the United States. In fact they'd prefer a demise of the Republic in favor of an oligarchy of persons like George Soros — and followers of Saul Alinsky.

One method of achieving a demise of the U.S. is with open borders and open voting — regardless of citizenship. Illegal aliens have voted. It has been proven illegal aliens voted in Virginia in according to a study by the Public Interest Legal Foundation. The study has not been refuted nor denied by Virginia officials, nor its Democratic governor.

Soros’s Open Society group is financing and supporting any and all efforts to open the borders and open voting destroying America’s sovereignty. The Open Society and other open borders groups were shocked when Hillary Clinton did not win the presidency and they have not fully recovered.

With the Trump budget rethinking welfare entitlements, times may be a changin' and order may replace disorder. An open purse mentality for benefits may be replaced with a means test and concern about how taxpayers’ money is spent.

The Trump election has immediately reduced the illegal border-crossings.
