If the courts acted as a legislature or if the governor acted as a court or the legislature took command of the police, all acts done in those scenarios would be void. Were this not so, then nothing would prevent any one branch from relinquishing its powers.

What is the effective difference between ordering me to eat broccoli and taxing me if I don't? Nothing except a rejection of the Constitution. Its original end was that the government leaves us alone. But that end is no longer in sight.

Does the president have a cavalier attitude about the truth? Does he mean what he says? Is his presidency, in his own mind, showmanship or reality? I don't know the answers. The voters will answer in November.

President Trump has been accused of inciting violence by his use of words. The voters will decide if Trump's words are prudent or helpful or even presidential. But the courts will leave him alone.
