Telethon Raises Money for Troop Gifts

The Thursday online telethon sponsored by Move America Forward has raised more than $1,116,500 to send care packages to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and contributions have continued to pour in.

Move America Forward, co-founded by radio personality Melanie Morgan, is the nation’s largest pro-troop organization. It has already shipped over 40 tons of care packages to our troops filled with food for their enjoyment, other necessities and messages of appreciation and encouragement from home.

Now the organization is sending over the largest shipment of care packages to our troops in American history, just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
