Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has one word for anybody who thinks he should be Sen. Barack Obama's running mate: No.
When asked Tuesday on National Public Radio if he was interested in the Democratic vice presidential nomination, Strickland replied: “Absolutely not. If drafted I will not run, nominated I will not accept, and if elected I will not serve.”
Strickland endorsed and campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, but switched his support to Obama after Clinton dropped out last Saturday.
