Iran's Rafsanjani: Hitler Saved Europe

Former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani says Adolf Hitler "saved" Europe from the evil of Zionism.

According to Fox News, Rafsanjani spoke on Iranian TV for "International Jerusalem Day." He said the Nazis' genocide of Jewish people in Europe was due in part to their being “a pain in the neck.”

He said Jews caused problems in Europe because they “had a lot of property” and “controlled an empire of propaganda.” He also said that the Nazis were successful in saving Europe from the evil of Zionism.

Rafsanjani was president from 1989 to 1997.
