WOODBURY, N.Y. — Sarah Palin says President Obama's budget proposal does not do enough to cut the national deficit.
The Republican former vice presidential candidate and Alaska's ex-governor is speaking before a gathering of 1,000 business and civic leaders Thursday on New York's Long Island.
Palin says Obama's budget "doesn't even make a dent" in the deficit. She adds: "It's not nearly enough."
Palin is answering questions being posed by Kevin Law, president of the Long Island Association. She is expected to spend an hour at a paid appearance before the business group.
