Dick Morris' 'Fleeced' 13 Wks. NY Times Best Seller

By    |   Friday, 26 September 2008 11:45 AM EDT

Top political analyst Dick Morris’s book “Fleeced” is now into its 13th week on the New York Times bestseller list — and enjoying new sales thanks to its coverage of the economic crisis.

"Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran … Are Scamming Us … and What to Do About It!" co-authored by Eileen McGann, is a hard-hitting call to arms spotlighting the hundreds of ways American taxpayers are routinely fleeced.

The book explains how the subprime crisis caused the financial meltdown and discloses who is responsible for allowing this mess to get started.

It also discloses how Barack Obama has called for $1 trillion in tax increases over the next 10 years — and dressed them up as tax cuts.

“‘Fleeced’ explains, in detail, what Obama would do as president,” said Morris. “It doesn't quote his wife, his pastor, or his dog, but quotes him on his plans to raise taxes on anyone with a household income of more than $100,000, on how he will extend health insurance to illegal immigrants, and how he will require the feds to notify terrorists within seven days of the start of an investigation into their activities.

The book discloses that:

  • The United States has released 425 terrorists from Guantánamo, at least 50 of whom have returned to the battlefield to fight our troops.

  • Mainstream Media have been given marching orders from the Society of Professional Journalists: never refer to "Islamic terrorists" or "Muslim terrorists." And they are obeying!

  • If the liberals win the 2008 election, they will cripple talk radio — forcing stations to give equal time to left-wing programs, and insisting that liberals play a key role in station management.

  • Up to a quarter of all state pension funds in the United States are invested in companies that are helping Iran, Syria, North Korea, or the Sudan — for a total of nearly $200 billion.

“Fleeced” shows how big business, big government, big labor, and big lobbyists, not the White House and Congress, are calling the shots. And their self-serving agendas are doing nothing to help the ever-increasing number of American people who are losing their homes, paying credit card interest rates higher than 25 percent, and finding their jobs increasingly outsourced to foreign countries.
