She plans to meet with several state legislators and other Republican activists too. Bachmann will speak to Iowans for Tax Relief on Friday as well.
ABC News reported earlier this month that Bachmann is seriously considering a bid for the presidency, but she declined to reveal her intentions in an interview with Politico. A source acknowledges to the news service that Bachmann’s conversations with Branstad and Strawn were set up after reports of a possible White House bid.
