LeBoutillier Predicted Obama Win

By    |   Friday, 04 January 2008 12:13 PM EST

Barack Obama’s “surprising” win in Thursday’s Iowa caucuses came as no surprise to readers of Newsmax columnist John LeBoutillier — he predicted the exact order of finish way back on Nov. 12.

“With seven weeks to go, Barack Obama is on the upswing, Edwards is static and Hillary is in trouble,” LeBoutillier wrote.

He predicted that Obama would win the Iowa caucuses, which he did with 38 percent of the votes, John Edwards would finish second – he got 30 percent – and Hillary Clinton would place third. She got 29 percent.

LeBoutillier added: “If that is how it ends up, she is almost finished before we even get to New Hampshire.”
