WASHINGTON — The House probably change some provisions of a tax-cut bill that could pass the Senate this week, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Monday.
"I think we're going to have a vote on the Senate bill, with possible changes," Hoyer said of legislation making its way through Congress that aims to protect the middle-class from higher taxes starting on Jan. 1 but also has become a vehicle for stopping tax increases for the wealthy.
