Edwards May Endorse After Tuesday

By    |   Monday, 04 February 2008 09:16 AM EST

Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards won’t endorse either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton before Super Tuesday’s primaries, close sources say — but that leaves the door open for an Edwards endorsement after Tuesday.

Edwards’ endorsement “would be a coveted prize,” CNN reported.

The Obama campaign has already received the backing of several Edwards’ supporters, including the Transportation Workers Union and the California branch of the Service Employees International Union.
