Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says President Barack Obama hasn't transformed America's image on the global stage, and

even takes him to task for "trying to apologize for America,"
Politico reports.
Appearing Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Rumsfeld rejected claims that the United States is now seen more favorably around the globe than when George W. Bush was president. And he expressed disdain that Obama "has made a practice of trying to apologize for America. I personally am proud of America”
Rumsfeld also said Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize was awarded on the basis of hope rather than accomplishment.
