Ways to Improve Oxygenation

Anyone who has read my writing knows that it is often about hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which is very important because it can help treat quite a large number of problems

For instance, we have been treating a number of military veterans that suffered traumatic brain injuries and/or blast exposure, which a decompression illness because of the overpressure from the blast and the quick release, producing the same effects as a bad scuba dive with the onset of the bends.

Unfortunately you keep hearing the term “invisible wounds of war” but we have used SPECT brain scans to demonstrate the brain injuries from blast exposures and then to document the response of the patient to HBOT with a follow up SPECT brain scan. We have had excellent response from vets.

I say again that we in the United States are behind the rest of the world in recognition of the value of HBOT because we have only about 14 approved indications for its use. If you look at the approved indications for HBOT in other countries, you will see that, for example, in Russia there at 74.

In fact, in Russia if a race horse has a bad fetus, then the next time the animal is pregnant it is given HBOT during the third trimester, and will usually have a normal fetus on their next pregnancy.

Here in the U.S., if you can document that a treatment has worked, Medicare is responsible for paying for it. In Florida, back in the 80s one of my MS patients sued Blue Cross Blue Shield to pay for the HBOT that had cleared all of the symptoms of her MS. She won that lawsuit.

There is now an over the counter product called NutriO2 liquid. A few drops can be added to other liquids and drank 3 times a day to produce many of the responses that we have obtained with HBOT. But you can take NutriO2 at home and not have the problems of the expensive HBOT treatment.

NutriO2 is available through the NutriFrontier limited. You can also look up more information on NutriO2 by going online and seeing data presented there.
