Bobbi Kristina Brown's Family Refuses to Give Up

By    |   Wednesday, 24 June 2015 02:10 PM

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved to a hospice facility, but her family is standing firm in their refusal to give up hope that she will one day awaken from her coma.

According to a new report, they visit her daily, pray at her bedside, sing, and talk to her, despite her remaining in an unresponsive state.

“Krissi is breathing, but she cannot communicate," a source close to the Houston family told People magazine.

The 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston was found face down in a bathtub of water on January 31 and has been in a vegetative state since.

There were reports earlier this month that the Brown’s family was bringing Bobbi Kristina home so she could die in a familiar setting. But those close to the family say they have not given up hope that she can recover.

On Wednesday the family announced Bobbi Kristina had been moved to hospice care from the Atlanta-area rehabilitation center where she had been after being moved from Emory University Hospital.

“As of today, she has been moved into hospice care," said her aunt Pat Houston. "We thank everybody for their support and prayers. She's in God's hands now."

After some news outlets reported that the family was planning to take Bobbi Kristina off life support, another of her aunts, Leolah Brown, angrily took to Facebook. She posted that her niece’s condition was improving.

She also contended that those who claim the situation is hopeless are doing so to get their hands on Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance.

Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby was appointed her co-guardian along with Pat Houston.
