Cancer and Your Age: This Will Shock You

The latest official numbers are in on cancer and aging from the Department of Health and they’re shocking.

It is apparent that the risk of cancer goes up as we age, but this is staggering:

  • If you are age 55, you are 10 times more likely to die of cancer than when you were 35.
  • At age 65, cancer death is 20 times more likely than it was at 35.
  • By the time you reach 75, your risk of cancer death mushrooms to 40 times higher than it was at age 35.
  • And should you be fortunate enough to live to 85, your risk will be 60 times that of a 35-year-old.

This same government report says that the average age of death due to cancer is 70.

What’s more? A disturbing new report indicates that most people put their lives in jeopardy by completely ignoring early warning signs of cancer.

The Cancer Research UK study found that more than half of cancer patients had at first ignored symptoms dubbed "alarm" warning signs and did not see their doctor about them.

These include a persistent cough or hoarseness, an unexplained lump, a sudden change in bowel or bladder habits, and a sore that doesn’t heal.

"Many of the people we interviewed had red flag symptoms but felt that these were trivial and didn't need medical attention, particularly if they were painless or intermittent,” said Dr Katriina Whitaker, a senior research fellow at University College London.

America’s foremost holistic health practitioner, David Brownstein, M.D., has released a free video presentation highlighting the 5 warning signs that you will get cancer.

At the other end of spectrum, some people didn't seek treatment for the symptoms out of fear they would be diagnosed with cancer.

The researchers said the study’s results underscore the need for people to be diligent and report their symptoms as early as possible.

Since life expectancy in the U.S. is now over 78, it appears that you can add at least eight healthy years to your life, maybe more, if you can just do one thing — avoid getting cancer.

Watching this video is an effective step you can take right now to put yourself squarely in the group that does not get cancer and lives, on average, at least eight years longer. I urge you to watch it now.
