What to Ask Before Your Journey

When people first embark on a journey to healing, they should first ask themselves the following series of questions. Doing so will helps each person to be more conscious of his or her current health status and of the factors — including their lifestyle choices and the types of stress they are habitually exposed to — that may be influencing their health and overall well-being.

We recommend that you answer these questions:

1) What percentage of your body’s healing power do you feel you are using now?

2) How long do you think it will take for you to regain your health?

3) What lifestyle/dietary changes do you think you need to make to feel better?

4) What emotional or stress-related factors are of concern to you currently?

5) What do you do to reduce stress in your life?

6) How will your life be different when you regain your health?

7) What do you need to do to reach a state of outstanding health?

8) Do you consider yourself to be healthy?

9) If not, what would you need to see happen in order to consider yourself to be healthy?

10) How would you like to see your health improve?

11) Do you take supplements?

12) Do you exercise? If so, what type of exercise?

13) What excites you; what are you passionate about?

14) What are you grateful for?

15) Are you living your dream?

16) What is your main health or life complaint, and why and how does it trouble you?

17) Do you have pain? If so, rate it on a scale of 1-10.

18) What do you expect this type of medicine, and particularly the diet changes, to do for you?

19) Were you breast fed as an infant? If so, for how long?

20) As a child, were you susceptible to infections?

21) Have your tonsils or adenoids been removed? Or have you had an appendectomy?

22) As a child, did you have eczema, any other skin problems, or allergies?

23) Do you have mercury fillings or root canals?

24) Have you had a lot of antibiotics?

25) What vaccinations have you received?

26) Are you following any particular diet?

27) Do you often feel very tired after a meal?

28) Do you often get attacks of intense hunger, so that you simply have to eat something?

29) Do you have regular bowel movements?

30) Are there any foods that you do not tolerate, or are especially fond of?

31) How much, and what, do you drink every day?

32) Do you sleep well? Do you snore?

33) What are you most afraid of?

34) What do you consider to be the cause of your health problem(s)?

35) Imagine that a wizard came along and could grant you one wish, but you can't request a wish for healing or to receive magical powers to change everything. What would you wish for?

By answering each of the above questions truthfully and to the best of your ability, you are likely to discover unconscious beliefs that you may hold that keep you stuck and limit your ability to fully commit to doing all that is necessary to get well.

Your answers can also help you identify what areas of your health and life you need to focus on first.

Here's to your outstanding health!
