Yeast Infections Trigger Sugar Cravings

When you experience gas, bloating, diarrhea, or constipation, and your doctors can't determine the cause, they may just label it "spastic colon” or “irritable bowel syndrome/IBS," instead of searching for the real source of your symptoms.

The most effective way to eliminate spastic colon/IBS is to treat the underlying causes. This is sometimes sensitivity to a certain food, such as lactose in milk or fructose in sodas.

More often, however, it is caused by a fungal/Candida infection that was missed by standard testing. In my experience, most patients' spastic colons resolve when this underlying bowel infection is treated.

Fungal infections cause a stuffy nose, eventually causing making nasal passages and sinuses swell shut.

Whenever something becomes blocked in your body (for instance, in your appendix or gallbladder), a secondary bacterial infection results. Your sinuses are no exception.

When this happens, your nasal mucus turns yellow-green, and you go to the doctor in pain. Often the doctor will prescribe an antibiotic. The antibiotic knocks out the bacterial infection and sometimes leaves you feeling better.

Unfortunately, it also worsens the underlying yeast infection in your nose, causing more swelling and blockage, and consequently, more attacks of bacterial infections.

This is why sinusitis — which is most often caused by fungal/yeast overgrowth — so often becomes usually becomes chronic.

Yeast grow by fermenting sugar. So your sweet tooth actually feeds them.

In addition, having treated thousands of patients with Candida/yeast overgrowth, it is clear to me that the Candida also triggers sugar craving so that the yeast can get fed.

Unlike other types of sugar addiction, in which people get irritable when they are hungry, sugar cravings from yeast don't make you irritable. They simply send you in search of something sweet.

In my new book, “Beat Sugar Addiction Now!” I show how to use a mix of natural and prescription therapies to eliminate yeast overgrowth, as well as chronic sinusitis and spastic colon.

If you follow a targeted treatment to get rid of your yeast, you'll become healthier and you'll dramatically reduce your sugar cravings.
