Gastritis pain is caused due to inflammation of the stomach lining. Patients affected by gastritis suffer from pain due to swelling, irritation, bleeding, and redness of the stomach lining. Gastritis pain can be caused due to a number of reasons. Infection due to H. pylori bacteria is usually the cause of gastritis pain. However, fungi, virus, or other bacteria may also cause the infection. Gastritis can be acute or chronic. Symptoms of gastritis include:

Papaya seeds can be used to treat gastritis pain. Dry papaya seeds under the sun. Pulverize the dried seeds and sprinkle on pineapple slices. Eating these pineapple slices on an empty stomach daily is among effective remedies.
 
Olive oil is among the useful remedies for treating stomach problems. Add one teaspoon of olive oil in a warm cup of milk. Drinking this on an empty stomach is considered as among the best remedies for the stomach.
 
Black salt is among useful remedies for ulcers and gastritis. Eat two to three pinches of black salt daily after meals. The traditional remedies recommend this treatment for one to two months for lasting relief. 
 
Add two to three teaspoons of psyllium husk to one cup of yogurt. A banana can also be added in the mixture. Eating this mixture half an hour before breakfast is among beneficial remedies for a healthy stomach.

The gastritis diet should include foods good for the stomach. Spicy foods, red meat, caffeine, and alcohol should be excluded from the diet. Instead, carrot juice, green fruits, and leafy vegetables should be included.
 
Exercise and yoga are good remedies to get relief from pain. Exercises like circling, raising or crossing the legs, and lifting the buttocks are beneficial remedies for the stomach. Yoga is an effective method of treating acute pain in the stomach.
