5 Foods That Cure Men's Sex Problems

By    |   Wednesday, 12 Aug 2015 10:41 PM

Many of men’s sex problems can be alleviated or cured through foods. Certain foods contain vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that restore sexual health by improving blood flow and increasing stamina.

The foods that boost sexual performance often protect the prostate and prevent health issues that cause erectile dysfunction.

Here are five foods to overcome men’s sexual problems.

SPECIAL: GMO Food: It's Worse Than We Thought . . .

1. Fish
Fish with omega-3 fatty acids are the healthy fats that protect the body’s blood circulation for improved sexual performance. These fish include salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring, and tuna. The American Heart Association recommends fish twice a week for protection against heart disease. Omega 3s lower triglycerides, fats in the blood, to reduce the risk of heart problems and protect against prostate cancer, registered dietitian Kathleen Zelman wrote for WebMD.

2. Beef
Lean beef is a good choice for zinc in the diet to provide testosterone production. Zinc improves sex drive, potency and sexual health, according to Men’s Health. Men lose zinc during ejaculation, wrote Dr. Sarah Brewer, author of “Overcoming Low Sex Drive.” Low zinc levels may lower testosterone levels. Areas in the world where zinc intake is low see delayed male puberty. For those who don’t like beef, seafood, whole grains, eggs and cheese contain zinc.

3. Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds, particularly pumpkin seeds, enhance prostate health, Men’s Health reported. Nuts and seeds contain plant hormones and oils to reduce inflammation of the prostate. Pumpkin seeds have oils to relieve pelvic pressure caused by prostate enlargement, Dr. Brewer pointed out.

4. Oysters
Oysters have become legendary for positive results in sexual enhancement, and it’s not a myth. Oysters also contain zinc for testosterone production. The dopamine in raw oysters creates the “feel good” chemicals in the body to increase a man’s desire for sex, according to R.Y. Langham in Livestrong.com. Research suggests zinc may protect the body’s cells from damage that leads to prostate cancer.

5. Bananas
Bananas contain bromelain and B vitamins, which regulate hormones to improve sexual desire and function, according to Jaiver Mendes in Natural News. The heart-healthy fruit has potassium to improve the heart and nerves in the body. Bananas contain tryptophan, a chemical that helps build serotonin to improve mood for better sexual health and fighting men’s sex problems.
