We all know that healthy, organic foods keep us in great shape.
But when you are stressed, working really hard, and it is cold and getting dark early, the tendency is to turn to comfort food, also known as junk food.
I also fall prey to the “I can’t eat another salad today, I am so tired” mindset — the idea that french fries and chocolate will make you feel good.
But if you want to prevent illness, don’t overindulge in junk food.
Put one day a week aside to eat junk. During the rest of the week, go healthy and organic.
Eat dark leafy green vegetables, fruit, fish, and chicken. Skip the dairy, soda, alcohol, and caffeine.
Your immune system will thank you.
