Can Flu Vaccine Interact With Medications?

Question: My mom has Alzheimer's and takes Namenda and Aricept. Would a flu shot have any negative interactions with these medications? Thank You.

Dr. Hibberd's answer:

The flu shot will not adversely affect the treatment of Alzheimer's disease or its medications, but it may enable your mother to remain free of complications of influenza illness this season.
