What Can I Do to Get Rid of Wrinkles?

By    |   Thursday, 10 July 2014 04:07 PM EDT

Question: I have a lot of wrinkles on my face (spent a lot of time in the sun when I was younger). Is there a safe way to treat them?

Dr. Hibberd's answer:

Some fine wrinkles can be smoothed away with topical treatments. Botox injections can help and are safe, in experienced hands. Facial peels may also help fine wrinkling and Retin-A can also be effective.

Deep wrinkles may need Botox initially then laser treatment. Unfortunately, the only option for some people is plastic surgery.
