What Supplements Can Help My Enlarged Prostate?

Russell Blaylock, M.D. By Monday, 05 August 2013 09:06 AM EDT Current | Bio | Archive

Question: I have a noncancerous enlarged prostate. What natural supplements can help me?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

Several natural substances have been found to reduce benign prostate enlargement, a common condition in older men. Zinc, beta-sitosterol, curcumin, quercetin, and DHA, in my experience, are the best agents to reduce prostate swelling. One should also avoid red meats, milk, cheeses, and calcium supplements.
