Nutrients and Breast Cancer

Question: I have completed seven rounds of chemo for stage IV metastatic breast cancer. What nutrients would be most beneficial for rebuilding my immune system?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

For many years, oncologists have been under the influence of false teaching concerning nutrient supplements. As I describe in my book, "Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients," a properly designed nutrient combination greatly enhances the effectiveness of traditional treatments, reduces complications by the treatments, and can overcome one of the most feared and common complications of chemotherapy — multidrug resistance (MDR).

Some supplements, such as DHA and curcumin, are even more effective than the drug Herceptin in inhibiting breast cancer. A friend of mine who was a professor of oncology at UCLA for over 40 years told me he had been using nutrients on his cancer patients and had never seen a single case where the nutrients he prescribed had interfered with or made the cancer grow faster. They only helped.
