Stop Serial Snacking

Are you one of those people who eat a good breakfast but an hour later are looking forward to lunch? Do you rely on snacks to keep hunger at bay until dinnertime?

According to scientists this urge to snack is not greed. It is caused by not eating enough of the right kinds of foods. Numerous studies have found that protein (either meat or dairy produce) helps keep hunger pangs at bay for longer than other kinds of food.

If you don’t have much protein in your diet, you may be more tempted to snack between meals and to put on weight.
