Meridians within the body form our basic electrical grid. When we are in good health, the energy or electricity coursing through the meridians is unobstructed.

But when there is an injury or damage to part of the body, the energy flow can be disrupted.

As I have written before, there are many different therapies to aid the body in restoring normal meridian or energy flow.

One of the ways you can help your body overcome illness as well as maintain its optimal energy flow is by ensuring that there are adequate electrolytes present.

Our bodies have to converts stored energy into electrical energy. It is important to maintain optimal nutrient levels in order to ensure that the body has the correct raw materials for energy production and conduction.

I told one patient suffering from fatigue to increase her ingestion of unrefined salt, as it supplies necessary electrolytes and minerals.

While refined (white) salt contains sodium and chloride, along with toxic additives such as ferrocyanide, unrefined salt contains more than 80 minerals that supply the body with readily absorbable nutrients.

I have found many people suffering from chronic pain are depleted of basic nutrients, including those found in unrefined salt.

It is impossible to overcome pain conditions if the body is not hydrated and does not have enough electrolytes.
