President Donald Trump on Saturday continued his assault on his own attorney general, tweeting that Jeff Sessions "doesn't understand" what's happening in his own Justice Department.
"Jeff Sessions said he wouldn't allow politics to influence him only because he doesn’t understand what is happening underneath his command position," Trump tweeted.
Trump brought up Hillary Clinton's emails again, tweeting that he "may have to get involved" if something isn't done about the FBI's mishandling of them back in 2016.
Trump then quoted Sen. Lindsey Graham, who said "every president has a right to their Cabinet, these are not lifetime appointments."
It's the latest barrage in a week filled with them between Trump and Sessions, who made the rare move of swinging back at his boss Thursday.
Sessions released a statement saying that the Justice Department "will not be improperly influenced by political considerations."
Trump fired back at Sessions on Friday.
Some Republican lawmakers are expecting Sessions to be out as AG after the midterms.
