Donald Trump — embroiled in a mushrooming sex-talk scandal that could destroy his presidential bid — once offered advice to Bill Cosby over multiple sexual assault allegations the veteran comic was hit with.
In a 2014 interview with E! News, the billionaire real-estate tycoon said he was not impressed with Cosby's silence over the charges.
"I think it's very sad and frankly, I don't think he's handling it well. He should say something because he's being accused of terrible things,'' said Trump, flanked by his wife Melania.
"And to have absolutely no comment, I think he's getting very bad advice from a PR standpoint and he should do it differently. He's not doing a very good job of handling it."
Trump is now in the middle of his own PR crisis following a Washington Post article about a 2005 video in which he's heard using crude and obscene language in discussing the sexual manhandling of women.
Trump has apologized, chalking his vulgarities up to "locker room banter'' with TV's Billy Bush. But his poll numbers have dramatically dropped since The Post's report and numerous GOP lawmakers have withdrawn their endorsements of him.
More than 50 women have come forward to make claims against Cosby for alleged sexual misconduct, all of which he has denied.
