Trump: 'Permanent Lockdown' Not Viable Path to Combat Coronavirus

President Donald Trump said on Monday that a "permanent lockdown" policy is not a "viable path forward" in combating the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump, speaking with reporters, as he pushed to reopen the country, argued that lockdowns do not prevent future infections and other countries have seen resurgence in cases after lockdowns.
