Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's campaign strategies are vastly different, but both are under close scrutiny in the Sunshine State.

Trump held a sold-out rally in a 10,000 seat arena in Pensacola Bay, Florida Friday night, but his first campaign office in the county has yet to open, despite being originally scheduled to open on Saturday.

"How much longer can he do this with massive rallies and free publicity?" Jeremy Evans, Escambia County's Republican state committeeman, told The Wall Street Journal. "Maybe the idea that you're going to vote for Trump because someone knocked on your door is a little archaic."

Clinton, on the other hand, opened an office five weeks ago and it has become a meeting place for volunteers and organizers to plan and execute phone banks, canvasses, and voter registration drives in Escambia County.

In only four weeks, Florida's election officials will begin mailing ballots to voters. Most polls show the candidates neck and neck. Trump is focusing on large-scale events and high-profile appearances to catch voter's attention, while Clinton is employing a more traditional, analytical campaign.

Trump has a headquarters in Sarasota, but continues to rely on around 20 GOP offices According to the campaign, they plan on opening more offices this week. Clinton has 51 offices, her own campaign's as well as the Democratic Party's, and her staff plans on adding 20 more before the end of the month.

"A lot of the emails you get from the Trump campaign show the only field office in Sarasota, so you feel a little bit left out," said Susan Moore, the Republican state committeewoman for Escambia County. "Not having enough signs is a standard complaint, but it does feel as if we don't have the standard ground game yet."
