Trump: No Complaint About Hillary's Health, Campaigning Is 'Grueling'

Donald Trump Monday morning said he hopes rival candidate Hillary Clinton "gets well soon," and commented he had a physical last week and will be releasing the results when they come back.

"When the numbers come, hopefully they are going to be good, I think they are going to be good," the GOP presidential nominee told Fox News "Fox & Friends" program in a telephone interview. "I feel great, but when the numbers come in, I'll be releasing very, very specific numbers."

Fox News reported later in the morning that Trump will release his health numbers on Thursday during an appearance on the syndicated "Dr. Oz" program.

Trump, also speaking with CNBC's "Squawk Box" program Monday morning, told the network that he takes no "satisfaction" in Clinton's health issues, and found her collapse on Sunday "quite sad."

Trump's words differed from his comments in recent weeks about Clinton's health, when he has said she is "not strong enough to be president" and that she "lacks the mental and physical stamina to take on ISIS" jihadists.

On Monday, he did not tie her health in with her ability to hold the Oval Office.

On Sunday, the Democratic presidential nominee suddenly left a memorial ceremony in New York commemorating the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and appeared to faint getting into a van.

Her physician, Dr. Lisa Burdack, said the former secretary of state was diagnosed with pneumonia during an evaluation Friday after she had been suffering from prolonged coughing episodes. She has been prescribed antibiotics and advised to modify her schedule.

"There is no satisfaction, believe me, whatsoever," Trump told CNBC. "It has been a very tough schedule . . . you go from one city, we are going from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and all over over the next day or so and you go to a lot of different work."

Trump told CNBC that there is still a long way to go in the campaign, and he doesn't know if Clinton's campaign will be releasing more records.

"It will all come out at some point, because it's so grueling that if somebody is not well it will be tough to go through the process," said Trump.

The GOP nominee told Fox News that he does hope that Clinton recovers well and quickly, and that he is looking forward to seeing her at the debate.

"Well, I really just don't know," Trump told Fox News. "I hope she gets well soon. I don't know what's going on. I'm like you. I see what I see. The coughing fit was a week ago, so I assume that was pneumonia also.

"I think it would have been, so something is going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we'll be seeing her at the debate."

Trump further does not think Clinton will be replaced by either her running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, or Vice President Joe Biden on the ticket.

"We have to see what's wrong," Trump told Fox News. "Whatever it is, I'm ready."

He told CNBC, though, that he finds the whole schedule and challenge "very invigorating."

"It's about making America great again, and that's what we are doing," said Trump. "So many things that can happen."
