The media believes FBI Director James Comey was wrong to reveal he was reopening his agency's Hillary Clinton email investigation, The Washington Examiner reports.
And it worries the bombshell disclosure could end up with Donald Trump winning next week's presidential election, according to the newspaper.
The Examiner cites a study by the conservative Media Research Center, which found that between Friday and Monday morning, news reports and analysis aired on CBS, NBC and ABC were overwhelmingly negative towards Comey by a ratio of "almost 3 to 1."
Comey jolted the election when he announced the FBI planned to comb emails seized from Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, to see if they were "pertinent" to Clinton's use of a private server.
