GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson took a bump on the head before Wednesday's CNN debate.

Carson is in second place and is, therefore, popular with the press. That popularity led to a large press scrum following him through the "spin room" and before it was over a camera hit him in the head.

Carson rubbed his head, but laughed off the accident.

In a video posted online of the incident by KABC in Los Angeles, someone jokes that Carson, a retired brain surgeon, can operate on himself.
