Hillary Clinton's latest campaign spot uses Republican soundbites to portray Donald Trump as "unfit" for the White House.

The 30-second ad shows GOP officials and conservative commentators questioning if Trump's erratic temperament should preclude him from the presidency.

"If he governs consistent with some of the things he's said as a candidate, I would be very frightened," former CIA Director Michael Hayden says in a clip from an interview.

"You have to ask yourself, do I want a person of that temperament controlling the nuclear codes? And as of right now, I'd have to say no," conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer says in another clip.

"He's been talking about the option of using a nuclear weapon against our western European allies," says Gillian Turner, formerly of the National Security Council during George W. Bush and Barack Obama's administrations.

The Clinton campaign also released a blog post on Wednesday that used recent news editorials and headlines to attack Trump for his comments on the Gold Star family who spoke at the Democratic National Convention. The campaign quotes the Los Angeles Times, The Dallas Morning News, and the Boston Herald, who all question if Trump is fit to serve as commander in chief.
