Trump now leads at 30 percent among the 1,009 adults surveyed between Monday and Wednesday. Carson is next, with 18 percent, up by 13 points.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush slipped 4 points to third place, at 8 percent. He now is tied with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
