Forbes Media CEO Steve Forbes is stressing the need for more knowledge in the U.S., so the nation can be rebuilt and made great again.

"If you have more knowledge, you can always rebuild the country," said Forbes, author of "Reviving America."

"Knowledge," he added, "comes from constant experimentation — from the mind."

Forbes, 69, spoke last night at Palm Beach Atlantic University, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The magazine-publishing magnate added there is no reason why we, as a nation, should be stagnating as we have been — during "the past 15 years."

With the election of Donald Trump "reform is coming" to the U.S. economy. Adding, "If you don’t give people prosperity they feel as though they can’t get ahead."

Forbes, an advocate of a simplified federal flat tax, also spoke extensively about reforming both healthcare and Internet regulation. "Obama’s recent FCC regulations of the Internet have resulted in 1932 speeds," he said.

The publisher of Forbes magazine concluded his remarks by stressing the importance of having no regrets over past mistakes. "If you did something differently, that you regret, learn from the mistake but respond to it."
