White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow that President Donald Trump’s indisputable economic success very much impressed many chief executives attending the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Trump touted the success of the U.S. economy in a rousing speech on Tuesday.

In a wide-ranging address pitched to appeal to the Davos crowd, touting the achievements of his administration despite his unorthodox approach, Trump picked up on some of the themes he voiced in 2018, Reuters reported.

He thanked overseas companies for investing in the United States and said the U.S. was on far better economic standing than he had imagined when he took office three years ago.

"The time for skepticism is over," Trump said as he invited more foreign money. "To every business looking for a place to succeed...there is no better place than the U.S.," he added.

During the rest of the week, “we visited with a lot of the CEOs at several dinners and lunches,” Kudlow told Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs.

“And what I heard, again and again, was, ‘Oh, I had no idea of the facts. I had no idea of the achievement,’” the veteran financial guru and former Ronald Reagan adviser said.

Kudlow called such ignorance of Trump's achievements as “cognitive dissonance that's running around in the country with bad information.”

The president "was at the top of his game and gave a brilliant speech to the crowd. He carried the day with his optimism and his emphasis on economic growth he called the American model. Free enterprise. Talking about the blue collar boom we are having," said Kudlow, who worked as Reagan’s budget deputy between 1981 and 1985.

"The folks on the other side of the aisle will do anything not to talk about this economy. And the blue collar boom. I just want to say, you know, at some point they will have to give way," said Kudlow, who served as the Trump campaign's senior economic adviser.

"Their cognitive dissidence will have to give way to the facts. We the presented the facts at Davos and we'll continue to present the facts here,"

"I think a lot of those folks are becoming Trump supporters" and fans of what Trump called . "the American model" for economic success.

"What did we do? Lower taxes. Massive rollback of costly regulations that damage business. Energy independence, and successful trade deals and negotiations to stop unfair trading practices which has damaged everybody," said Kudlow, who is assistant to the president for economic policy and director of the White House’s National Economic Council.

"During course of this election season, the facts will win out."
