Every business’ goal is to have a profitable Christmas especially by increasing sales. But sales is not what Christmas is all about, it’s also about showing gratitude to critical stakeholders whose inputs directly and indirectly have helped your business achieve the set goals and objectives.

It’s this gratitude that will in-turn enhance customer loyalty and attract new customers and clients and generate massive sales. Here are 6 stakeholders you need to immensely appreciate this Christmas holiday season;

  1. Family and Friends

The Christmas holiday season is indeed a busy period for most entrepreneurs but that’s not an excuse not to share unforgettable moment with your friends and family. They are the closest people in your life and in the event of any eventuality; they are the first to come to your aid. So why not show them how much they mean to you and your business.

You can start by sending Christmas and thank you messages to your friends and family members using various social media platforms. Create time from your busy schedule to host them and share some branded gifts that’ll further advertise and market your products and services.

  1. Customers and Clients

The simple way to get more sales is to get more customers. Getting more customers entails appreciating your old customers for their patronage by giving gifts and discounts. Remember, your customers are your greatest marketers. You’ll be surprise how your Christmas packages will attract lots of new customers and boost sales.

You can’t dispute the fact that people like presents and they expect them especially this Christmas holiday season. Hence, gifts are good marketing tools but not without a cost. Many businesses can’t afford this cost but there are ways you can show gratitude without spending much.

Buy high quality gifts in bulk at reasonable wholesale prices or you can use coupon codes and discounts to get better deals when shopping online. Gifts strengthen your relationship with customers and clients and prompt them to patronize and market your products and services.

  1. Suppliers and Vendors

Although not every business relates with vendors and suppliers but lots of businesses really need them to achieve set goals. I know most entrepreneurs expect suppliers and vendors to share Christmas gifts, after all, they (business owners) are the ones patronizing them.

Even as you expect gifts from them, prepare a gift pack as a sign of appreciation for their timely and efficient service delivery. You can also use a conference call to communicate your gratitude and goodwill messages as well as other business conversations. This is very essential because your vendors and suppliers have priorities and deals with their clients according to the level of relationships. You need to always show gratitude to motivate them to go the extra miles to satisfy your business supply needs.

  1. Employees

Employees are your business representatives. They are one of the reasons your business is thriving and their services are mostly needed in this busy holiday season. Hence they expect a whole lot from you this Christmas season.

Prepare a special Christmas package for you staff as a way of saying thank you and well done for their loyalty, creativity, discipline, dedication, perseverance and both mental and physical strength to achieve stated goals. This will spur them to achieve more. They really need and expect their gifts. So don’t deprive them.

  1. Mentors

Some of us form a bad habit of getting in touch with our mentors and people who are more successful than us for guidance and direction especially during trial period. But what happen when things are going well? You also need to appreciate the inputs of this category of people in your business this holiday season.

Doing this will further enhance your relationship with your mentors and open more avenues where they can capacitate, announce and introduce you to other people. They can even give you some business tips that’ll empower your business for greater exploits.

  1. The Community (Less-privileged)

Warren Buffett once said “if you’re in the luckiest 1% of humanity, you owe it to the rest of humanity to think about the other 99%.” while Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft said “is the rich world aware of how four billion of the six billion live? If we were aware, we would want to help out; we’d want to get involved”.

You may call it corporate social responsibility or philanthropism, but what I want to point out here is the need to positively touch lives with your finances, time and intellect especially to the less privileged members of our awesome society. Show some love by giving out branded gifts.

The society is watching; you may never know if your little deeds will turn out to be the best marketing strategy ever.
