As U.S. car manufacturers focus on introducing more government-subsidized electric vehicles to their lineups, experts say they have sacrificed a staple — the gas-powered family sedan.

Despite consumer reports indicating EVs aren't moving off dealership lots, automakers are still prioritizing making more gas-less models.
