BLUFFTON, S.C. (AP) — Texas Gov. Rick Perry is training his hottest fire on President Barack Obama rather than his GOP presidential rivals as he campaigns in coastal South Carolina.
Perry used a light touch Friday as he talked with diners at a packed café near Hilton Head.
Perry never mentioned his GOP opponents by name although he outlined his differences with them.
He said they're all either Wall Street insiders or Washington insiders. Perry said he's the genuine outsider who can change Washington.
Perry accused Obama of spending too heavily on domestic programs while short-changing the military.
The South Carolina Republican primary is Jan. 21.
