Newsmax and Google will co-host a special live television forum Thursday with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, who has been spearheading many of President Trump's initiatives to revitalize the U.S. economy.
The "Newsmax in the Nation's Capital" show will be hosted by economist Larry Kudlow on issues ranging from tax reform to President Trump's jobs programs to trade policy dealing with NAFTA and China.
The special will air live on Newsmax TV Thursday at 5 p.m. ET, available on Youtube as well as DirecTV 349, FiOS 615 and U-Verse 1220 – and other outlets – More Info Here.
The Newsmax program with Ross will be re-broadcast on Thursday at 10 p.m., on Saturday at 1 p.m. and on Sunday at 10 a.m., all times Eastern.
Ross also will discuss Wall Street's revival since President Trump took office in January, as well as the president's plans for reviving the American economy.
President Trump unveiled his tax-reform blueprint last month, seeking to slash rates for middle-class Americans, drastically scale back the number of tax brackets — and lowering fees for corporations creating incentives for companies who repatriate funds from overseas.
Ross told CNBC last month that the nation's economy could get a 1 percent boost from these changes in America's byzantine tax code.
"Those are gigantic numbers even for a country the size of the U.S., so the tax changes could be transformative events," Ross told "Squawk Box."
Ross recently visited China and will share first-hand insights with Kudlow that support President Trump's longstanding call for a dramatic change in the trade relationship between the countries, as well as how North Korea fits into the paradigm.
