Carl Icahn on Wednesday ruled out the possibility of joining Donald Trump's cabinet as Treasury Secretary, the billionaire investor told CNBC.
"There's no way I would do that," Icahn said, the Washington Examiner reports.
However, Icahn said he is happy Trump got elected.
"It's a step in the right direction because it's as simple as this: We must stop the gridlock that you have in Washington," Icahn told CNBC. "The federal reserve cannot do this alone. And we are holding this economy up with zero percent interest rates, which is unheard of.
"Change in this case I think is very important," Icahn said.
